Construction Before & After in San Antonio, TX
We could tell you our remodels hold up. But honestly, the work itself makes the case better than we ever could. These are real project stories from San Antonio jobs: the cramped bathroom in Alamo Heights, the kitchen that stopped working for a growing family near Stone Oak, the Castle Hills exterior that needed a full reset. Same crew standard on every one: written price first, photo updates during, and a 365-Day Done Right Promise after. Here’s what that looks like.

Primary Bathroom Gut Remodel in Alamo Heights
Before
AfterThe problem: The original bathroom was a 1982 original: single vanity, builder-grade tile, and a tub-shower combo nobody in the household actually used. The floor had settled near the door, and the Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor) had failed at the threshold years ago, so moisture had been quietly working into the subfloor. What we did: We pulled everything to the studs, corrected the subfloor, and rebuilt the wet zone with a curbless walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. The vanity became a double with Cambria quartz and Kohler fixtures. The result: A bathroom that went from the most dated room in the house to the one they show off first. Tile work carries a written guarantee, and the whole room is covered under our 365-Day Done Right Promise.
Kitchen Wall Removal and Full Renovation Near Stone Oak
Before
AfterThe problem: A closed-off U-shaped kitchen with a load-bearing wall between the cooking area and the living room. The homeowners couldn’t watch kids while cooking, and the single window faced a fence. Counter space ran out two appliances into any meal prep. What we did: We engineered the beam, pulled the wall, and opened the entire space. KraftMaid cabinetry went floor to ceiling on the new wall, an island doubled the prep surface, and Caesarstone counters tied the surfaces together. The result: The house finally flows the way San Antonio families actually live: someone cooks, someone does homework, everyone’s in the same conversation. Written price was approved before demo day, and the final invoice matched it to the dollar.
Full Home Renovation in Castle Hills
Before
AfterThe problem: This 1970s ranch had good bones and bad everything else. Siding was original hardboard, swelling and peeling in San Antonio’s humidity and summer heat. The roof had one good season left. The front porch had a visible sag that made the whole house look tired from the street. What we did: We worked room by room over four months, but the exterior transformation told the real story: James Hardie siding, a GAF shingle roof, a rebuilt porch with proper footings, and a front door that doesn’t fight you. Inside, flooring, paint, two bathrooms, and a kitchen refresh. The result: A house that looked abandoned from the curb now looks like the nicest one on the block. Every phase shipped with photo updates, so the owners watched the progress from their phones without driving over daily.
Hall Bath Remodel for Aging-in-Place in Terrell Hills

The problem: A standard hall bath with a deep tub that was becoming a safety issue. Stepping over the tub wall was a fall risk, and the single towel bar couldn’t double as support. The family wanted a fix that didn’t look clinical. What we did: We removed the tub and built a curbless shower with integrated grab bars, a bench, and a Kohler handheld on a slide bar. Floor tile carries a higher coefficient of friction rating than standard tile, so it grips even wet. The result: The bathroom is safer without looking like a hospital room. And while we’re on the subject: if you have an aging parent in the house, don’t wait for a fall to make this change. Call (432) 547-6806 and we’ll walk through what it costs in San Antonio.
Exterior Refresh: Siding, Paint, and a Front Door with Curb Appeal

The problem: The house had been a rental, and it showed. Paint was chalky, one corner of the siding had water damage behind a downspout, and the front door was a hollow slab with builder hardware. The new owners wanted the house to feel like theirs from the minute they pulled in. What we did: We replaced the damaged sections with James Hardie, painted the full exterior, and installed a solid-core front door with real hardware. Gutters got splash blocks, and one section of fascia was rebuilt. The result: Street presence completely changed. For San Antonio buyers and owners, the exterior is the first impression that sets expectations for everything inside.
Laundry to Mudroom Conversion with Built-in Storage

The problem: The laundry room was a narrow pass-through from the garage, with no place for backpacks, shoes, or the dog’s leash. San Antonio houses handle a lot of daily traffic through garage entries, and this one was a bottleneck. What we did: We removed the old wire shelving and built a full mudroom system: bench with shoe cubbies, coat hooks at two heights, and KraftMaid wall cabinets for overflow. The washer-dryer stack stayed in place, just better organized. The result: The family walks in from the garage and everything has a home. It’s a small footprint project with outsized daily impact, and it’s the kind of work that shows up in before-and-after photos more than you’d expect.
