Meet the San Antonio Team Behind Sawyer Remodel San Antonio
Remodeling is a people business. Not just the people who own the house, but the people who show up to work on it every day. Our San Antonio crew has been building bathrooms, kitchens, and whole-home renovations in this city long enough to know two things: the work has to be right, and the homeowner has to know what’s happening at every step. We’re local. We live here. We’re backed by The Relay Standard, which means a written price before work starts, live arrival time tracking, and photo updates while the job is in progress. No exceptions.

Our People

Luca Romano, Owner
Luca founded Sawyer Remodeling in 2005 and has spent nearly two decades in San Antonio’s remodeling trade. He’s the one who answers the phone most days and the one who walks every job before the crew starts. His rule is simple: write the real price down, do the work right, and stand behind it for a full year. The 365-Day Done Right Promise was his idea, and he means it literally. If something isn’t done right, we make it right. Luca handles pricing, material selections, and the final walkthrough on every project. He’d rather lose a bid than win it with a lowball number that changes later.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Sawyer Remodel San Antonio for eleven years, running point on bathroom tear-outs, tile work, and the kind of waterproofing details most people never see but always benefit from. He’s certified in Schluter shower system installation, which matters in this climate. San Antonio humidity gets into everything, and a shower pan that isn’t watertight becomes a mold problem behind the wall within a year. Marcus is also the guy who triple-checks valve placements before the plumber roughs in, because moving a shower head from one stud bay to another after tile goes up is a $400 lesson in patience. Outside of work, he grills brisket low and slow and will absolutely tell you his method if you ask twice.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena joined the crew seven years ago and quickly became the person we put on finish work. Cabinet installs, crown molding, custom vanities, and anything that requires leaving a clean line behind. She’s worked extensively with KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinetry and knows their rail systems well enough to assemble a wall cabinet run without a single gap at the seam. If a countertop template doesn’t match the slab, she catches it before the fabricator ever leaves the driveway. Cambria and Caesarstone surfaces show every imperfection, and Elena treats a finished counter like it’s staying in her own kitchen. She keeps a small notebook of every job she’s ever done and can tell you exactly how a specific vanity corner was scribed in a Terrell Hills master bath two years ago.
Diego S., Service Coordinator
Diego is the one who calls you the day before we arrive and the one who texts you the live arrival link the morning of. He runs the schedule, keeps material deliveries on time, and manages the before-and-after photo updates that go out through The Relay Standard process. Before joining us four years ago, Diego worked dispatch for a plumbing outfit, so he’s calm when things shift, which they always do during a remodel. He’s also our warranty follow-up person. If you call about something after the job closes, Diego is the one who opens the file, checks the 365-Day Done Right window, and schedules the return trip. He’s a Spurs season ticket holder and schedules jobs around home games when he can, which we all pretend not to notice.
One Standard, Every Job
The Relay Standard isn’t a slogan in a franchise manual. It’s the way we’ve run Sawyer Remodel San Antonio since the beginning, and it’s what every crew member on this page follows on every job. Written price before work starts. Live arrival time tracking so you know when we’re showing up. Photo updates so you can see progress without standing over someone’s shoulder. A digital invoice you pay from a link. If something goes wrong after the project closes, the 365-Day Done Right Promise backs it in writing. We don’t ask you to trust us on faith. We put it on paper, and we answer the phone when you call. That’s not complicated. It’s just the right way to run a remodeling company, and it’s the only way we do business in San Antonio.
